Today we visited Crater Lake.  It is truly a magnificent sight to see…the water is as blue as any I have ever seen. Seems at every pull-off there is another beautiful view to photograph, but how many photo of a lake can you take? The wind was howling at this elevation and although the sun was shining the air was cool…
After leaving Crater Lake we stumbled upon another beautiful little work of nature,  the Rogue River Gorge.  This gorge is probably fed by springs from Crater Lake itself.  We loved the water falls and runs of water as they dashed through the gorge.  Jeni had recommended the fly shop in Shady Cove which was on our way to Grants Pass.   The owner of "The Fishing Hole" was a real character and sold us more than a couple of flys!
