Medicine Wheel, Wyoming

After seeing Devils Tower we headed to Medicine Wheel a National Historical Site.  I have tried twice before to see this site, but have been snowed out both times. . .  .  BUT the third time was the charm, we made the 3 mile hike without any problems except for a little rain.  Located at about 10,000 feet in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming, it is an area of intense beauty and magnificent views.  Some have described Medicine Wheel as the American Indians Stonehenge.   Almost 2000 years ago anicent people formed this stone wheel.   The photos show various offerings left by Native American who hold Medicine Wheel as a revered spiritual place.
