Devils Tower and Medicine Wheel . . .

We hit the road again this morning bright and early and headed to Devils Tower National Monument.  Charlie has taken a real liking to the prairie dogs here, so she has one riding "shotgun" in the Yukon.  We drove from Spearfish, SD to Sundance, Wyoming.   We traveled through some beautiful wide open spaces on the way to Devils Tower.   We did stop in the middle of nowhere at an old stagecoach station called, Spotted Horse, population 12.  Most of you will be familiar with Devils Tower from the movie "Close Encounters". . . however, it really is a place full of legends from the Native Americans Indians.   We enjoyed seeing it for ourselves, along with about 17,000 Japanese tourist.
